On October 20-21, 2011 Interregional Public Charitable Organization “Faith, Hope, and Love” conducted a seminar on the subject “Changes in the Russian legislation. Peculiarities of accounting and taxation of NGOs” in Pyatigorsk.

Officials of international organizations, representatives of audit firms and organizations working in the sphere of protection of information were invited as speakers.

The goals of the seminar were the training, the promotion of the improvement of professional skills of the trainees in the field of human rights protection, the accounting of NGOs and the protection of personal data, as well as the strengthening of cooperation between human rights organizations, the sharing of experience, the establishment of work contacts.

On November 9-10, 2010 Stavropol Regional Public Charitable Organization “Faith, Hope, and Love” conducted a seminar on the subject: “Legalization, migratory control of stateless persons, refugees and asylum seekers” with the support of UNHCR in the RF in Pyatigorsk.

Officials of the Federal Migration Service Department on Stavropol Krai, lawyers of NGOs and UNHCR advisors on legal protection were invited as speakers.

On March 24-25, 2010 our organization conducted its regular (the 15^th ) seminar on the subject “Applying to the Constitutional Court of the RF. Applying to the ECHR. Peculiarities of taxation of some categories of tax-payers” in cooperation with the Advocatory Chamber of Stavropol Krai in Pyatigorsk.

The goal of the seminar was the training, the promotion of the improvement of professional skills of the trainees in the field of human rights protection, the strengthening of cooperation between human rights organizations, advocates, representatives of government structures, the drawing of advocates in free protection of migrants’ rights and vulnerable categories of people, the establishment of co-ordination between human rights defenders and officials of government structures, the sharing of experience, the establishment of work contacts, the strengthening of the community of human rights NGOs, the enhancing of their role in social life, the consolidation of efforts of NGOs in human rights sphere, the joint consideration of problems and the working-out of solutions.
